Senshu University work on joint class with other universities on line. This is the first attempt. |

Dr. Laura Moretti (Venice University) and Dr. Noriko Itasaka (Senshu University).
It was 3 P.M. in Japan and 8 A.M. in Italy.

The theme of the joint class was "Place for people who have different culture to talk." |

First they made video presentations by both sides and then asked and answered questions about presentations.
Video presentations by Venice University students are self-introduction and themes of graduation thesis.
Students told why they are interested in Japan. They are interested samurai, Kanji character, Haiku, Manga, Origami and so on. |

Group A : Cultural exchange in the modern period between Italy and Japan.
Group B : Japanese culture in the Edo Period and modern times.
Group C : Considered Japanese culture and Italian culture from a historicalviewpoint.
Group D : Tokyo - City Guide.
"I have a question for group B. Was there a city plan in the Edo Period?" asked a Venice University student. |

"We have a surprise for you." said Dr. Itasaka then showed Ms Cerantola who is from Venice, has been studying in Japan for a few months.
"Ciao! Come stai???" Ms Cerantola and her friends are excited about joyous reunion via LiveOn. |

"We still have lots of questions but we have to finish now." said Dr. Itasaka and at last of the class, Everyone said good-by in Italian."Ciao! Alla prossima volta! (Bye! See you next time!)" |
